This page explains what happens to your information when you visit nudaewear.com or join our list: what we collect, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Nudaé is a brand of Nudae Wear LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA, at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. We decide how the information described here is used, which makes us its “controller” under European and UK data protection law. You can reach us at hello@nudaewear.com.
What we collect
When you join the list. Your email address. Klaviyo, the service that sends our emails, also records when and how you joined, and receives the technical details that come with every request a browser makes, such as your IP address and browser type.
When you open our emails. Our emails contain a small image and tracked links, which tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This is standard in email software. If you would rather we did not know, turn off automatic image loading in your email app.
When you visit the site. Our host, Netlify, processes the technical details of each visit (your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the page and keep the site secure. The typeface on this site is delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
When you email us. Your email address and whatever you choose to write.
What we do not do
- We do not set cookies on this site.
- We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking on this site.
- We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not use your email address for anything other than what is described below.
Why we use it
- To send you what you signed up for: news when the fabric is confirmed, when the samples arrive and when we launch, and your code for 10% off your first order. We do this because you asked us to (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us.
- To deliver this website and keep it secure. We do this because it is necessary to run the site (our legitimate interest).
- To reply when you write to us.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of providers, each for one job:
- Klaviyo, Inc. (USA) keeps our email list and sends our emails.
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts this website.
- Google (USA) delivers the typeface through Google Fonts.
- Our email provider stores the messages you send to hello@nudaewear.com.
Each has its own privacy policy, which applies to what it processes.
Where it is stored
We are a US company and our providers are based in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there. When it comes from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the transfer relies on the safeguards each provider offers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your email address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, Klaviyo keeps your address on a do-not-email list so that you are not emailed again by mistake. If you want it removed completely, ask us.
- Website visit details: for the limited period our host keeps its logs.
- Emails you send us: for as long as we need them to deal with your message.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you, or send you a copy
- correct it
- delete it
- stop or limit how we use it
Write to hello@nudaewear.com. We will reply within one month and will not charge you. If you are in the EU or UK and are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
Children
This site is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has joined our list, tell us and we will delete their details.
Changes to this page
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
